Woman charged with biting nightclub security guard

A 23-year-old woman will face court on Monday for allegedly biting, kicking and punching a security guard after she was denied entry to a Civic nightclub early on Sunday morning.

At about 1.15am, the woman and her male partner were refused entry to a London Circuit nightclub.

Police allege the woman then began knocking over items belonging to the venue and when security guards attempted to stop her, they fell to the ground.

The woman then allegedly kicked one security guard twice, punched him in the face and bit him on the arm.

She is charged with common assault and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
