Bystander injured when burnout wheel comes loose

A 21-year-old man was struck by a wheel that had come loose from a gold Ford Falcon sedan covered in graffiti that was allegedly doing burnouts in Copper Crescent, Beard, on Friday night.

The injured bystander was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police are looking for the driver of the vehicle, who is believed to have been wearing a banana costume and a balaclava.

Police are also looking for witnesses and mobile phone footage of the incident.
