Tracking device leads police to stolen property

The owner of a tracking device attached to stolen property alerted police that it had been tracked to the vicinity of Flemington Road, Franklin, where two people were arrested. 

A 26-year-old man and 26-year-old woman, who are both subject to good behaviour orders, have been charged after police located suspected stolen property, two knives, a wallet containing foreign currency, the tracking device and tools suspected of being used for theft in their belongings late on Saturday night.
