Man arrested on clandestine drug lab charges

A 21-year-old Dickson man has been charged with allegedly organising the manufacture of MDMA and other controlled drugs via clandestine laboratories.

In early 2024, police began investigating a drug-trafficking group and identified the man as a person of interest.

The say he allegedly arranged for the manufacture of controlled drugs interstate and the sale of controlled drugs and collection of controlled precursors in the ACT.

The man also allegedly provided funding to other members of the criminal group including the manufacture of about 20 kilograms of Methylenedioxymethamphetamine at two separate clandestine laboratories in NSW.

Police anticipate further arrests.
