Cyclist’s death marks first road fatality for the year

A 70-year-old cyclist has died following collision with a car on Northbourne Avenue.

The man died at the scene near the intersection of Murdoch Street and Northbourne Avenue on Tuesday night.

He is the ACT’s first road fatality for 2025.

Police will prepare a report for the coroner.
