Man’s body found near Shepherds Lookout

The body of a 57-year-old man has been found near Shepherds Lookout, outside Strathnairn.

Police, AFP Search and Rescue and emergency services personnel began searching an area near the Murrumbidgee River and Shepherds Lookout for the man on Tuesday afternoon after he was reported missing.

The man’s body was found at about 7.20pm.

Police say they are investigating the circumstances of the man’s death and want to speak to anyone in the vicinity of Shepherds Lookout between 11am Monday and 3pm, Tuesday.
