Credit charges lead Greenway woman to police charges

An 18-year-old Greenway woman has been charged with four counts of obtaining property by deception after allegedly using stolen bank cards to make fraudulent purchases.

Police say that on the morning of June 2 a silver Mercedes and a wallet were taken from a home in Wright. That same day, the woman was captured on CCTV footage using the stolen cards at several stores in Weston and Kambah.

Police arrested the woman after a search of her home on Friday located clothing matching the items bought in the CCTV footage.

She was also charged with riding in a motor vehicle without consent.
