Hands Across Canberra… Heading to a new address in Deakin.

Ivan Slavich, managing director at Community Bank Canberra and Regions, said the community partnership with HAC will go a long way in helping disadvantaged and vulnerable people.

HAC, a Canberra-based community foundation that works with local not-for-profit organisations, has been an enabler for innovative partnerships and collaboration, and has worked to increase the level of giving and philanthropy in Canberra.

“Community Bank Canberra and Regions has a Community Impact Plan and one of our key strategic priorities is supporting our community with a focus on the most vulnerable people,” Mr Slavich said.

“Hands Across Canberra’s ethos perfectly aligns with our board’s strategic direction… I have seen first-hand the work they do in the community, and the impact of their work is remarkable.”

HAC CEO Genevieve Jacobs said: “Community Bank Canberra and Regions have such a long and proud history of helping local groups and organisations in the area and we’re so thankful for their partnership with us.”

The HAC staff and services can now be found working out of the Community Bank Deakin branch at 75 Denison Street, Deakin.

Community Bank Canberra & Regions recently celebrated its first birthday, marking a year of serving the local community as part of Bendigo Bank’s Community Bank network.
