Canberra Airport will play host to the second new QantasLink Airbus A-220 jet on Tuesday afternoon.

Dubbed “Koala”, with the registration of VH-X4B, it’s flying in from Fiji at 1.47pm before officially beginning work with QantasLink.

Unlike the first A220’s green livery, this jet has the traditional red colour scheme for the Flying Kangaroo and is expected to also operate on the Canberra-Melbourne route, among other services, when it officially enters the fleet.

The jet left Montreal at the weekend as  flight QJE6075. As part of the so-called “ferry” flight, it stopped in Vancouver, Honolulu and Nandi.
