Stolen Holden crashes through Braddon

A STOLEN silver Holden sedan collided with two parked vehicles, a concrete barrier and a fence in Braddon on Wednesday afternoon.

Police say that before the car came to a stop in Eloura Street, pedestrians had to jump out of its way.

The 34-year-old disqualified driver, from Downer, was taken into custody. The man sought medical assistance during a breath-analysis procedure and then allegedly refused to have a blood sample taken while at hospital.

He was charged with refusing a blood test, driving while disqualified, two counts of breaching a good behaviour order, driving a motor vehicle without consent and negligent driving.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or has dash-cam footage of the incident should call 1800 333000, or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website.
