NOMINATIONS are open for the Council on the Ageing Seniors Achievement Awards 2023.

The six award categories recognise outstanding individuals, community organisations, social and business enterprises that have made a significant contribution to improving the lives of older Canberrans.
Jenny Mobbs, CEO of COTA ACT, says: “The awards are an opportunity to recognise seniors of all walks of life – seniors who are experts in their field, seniors who share their culture and talents, seniors and those who volunteer and work with seniors as coaches, organisers and fundraisers, and seniors who care for people in need of understanding and companionship.
“These significant awards recognise the volunteer work and contributions to the community life of older Canberrans.
“It is a chance for all of us to say thank you, and to celebrate the many senior Canberrans and service providers who have given and shared their skills, experience, time, and energy in, and with, our territory.”
Nominations close on November 3 and the winners will be announced on November 16.
