A MAN, hiding from police under a bed at a home in Weetangera on Thursday, has been arrested and charged with family violence offences. He was already on bail for family violence offences.

Police say that on May 5 the 25-year-old man was challenged by a family member for returning home after the curfew set in his bail conditions. He allegedly became violent, causing injuries to the family member.

The man then left the home and was unable to be located for several days before his arrest yesterday.
