A 29-year-old man is facing court for allegedly assaulting his ex-girlfriend, another man, and two police officers.
At 1.30am on Monday the man forced his way into his ex-girlfriend’s home.
Police allege the man used a knife to stab another man in the home and punched the woman in the face before fleeing.
Paramedics treated the duo on-scene before taking the male victim to hospital for further treatment.
At 2.30am on Thursday, police found the alleged offender at a service station.
When the man produced identification that did not belong to him, officers attempted to arrest him, and he allegedly assaulted one officer before running from the scene.
A second officer chased him, but was also allegedly assaulted while making the arrest.
The man has been charged with two counts of intentionally inflicting grievous bodily harm, aggravated burglary with the intent to cause harm, two counts of assaulting frontline community service providers, possessing a knife without reasonable excuse and possessing a licence issued to another.
