ACT Police have released face-fit images, seeking community assistance to identify two men responsible for an alleged aggravated robbery.

On Tuesday, June 6, about 12.30pm, the two men allegedly attended a residence in Florey and stole a red Volkswagen Golf from the backyard.

An occupant of the home attempted to intervene, but one of the men allegedly produced a knife and held it in their direction, before fleeing the scene in the Volkswagen.

The car was seen by police on John Gorton Drive, Coombs, soon after. The driver failed to stop for officers, and a short pursuit began, but it was stopped due to public safety concerns.
