ACT Policing and NSW Police Force are warning the community that double demerits will be enforced this Labour Day long weekend.

Double demerits will apply from 12am Friday morning until Monday evening 11.59pm inclusive.

During the long weekend, double demerits will apply to all speeding, seatbelt and mobile phone offences.

All other traffic offences will attract an additional demerit point.
