Dog set on woman in Scullin assault

A 19-year -old woman is alleged to have sustained around 50 injuries from being punched, kicked and having a dog set on her during an assault  in Scullin. 

On Saturday morning police responded to reports of a disturbance at a residence on McGinness Street. The alleged perpetrator, a 19-year-old man had left.

On Monday evening he was arrested in Yass by NSW police. He faced Goulburn Local Court on Tuesday and was extradited to the ACT.

ACT police have charged the man with one count of recklessly inflicting grievous bodily harm.
