The ACT and Capital Region’s property industry has recognised its leading figures and teams at the 2026 People in Property Awards, held at the National Arboretum Canberra.
Hosted by the Property Council of Australia, the awards highlighted leadership, innovation and contribution across the territory’s built environment sector.
Property Council ACT and Capital Region executive director Ashlee Berry said the awards recognised the people behind major projects shaping Canberra.
Winners announced at the event include Hannah Neville, named Future Leader of the Year for her work combining planning, visualisation and strategy to improve community engagement in development projects.
The Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Award went to the Ventia Projects and Workplace Solutions team, recognised for achieving more than 60 per cent female participation and 75 per cent female leadership.
Lendlease Construction’s Australian War Memorial project team was named Team of the Year for its delivery of the Anzac Hall and Anzac Atrium works.
The Industry Impact Award was presented to Meagan Higgins, recognised for more than three decades of leadership across major global developments.
Rupert Cullen received the Pathfinder Award for restructuring his business model to remove traditional commissions and deliver cost savings for clients.
The People First Award went to the ck architecture executive leadership team, recognised for establishing an employee ownership model aimed at strengthening culture and succession planning.
The Allan Wylucki Leadership Award was presented to Phil O’Brien for more than 30 years of contribution to Canberra’s property sector and mentoring emerging leaders.
Highly commended recipients included Erik Boddeus for industry leadership across aged care and retirement living, and Erinna Guarino for work advancing women in property and project management.
Organisers said the awards highlighted the role of people across the industry in delivering projects and shaping the city’s built environment.
