Artist, educator and researcher Lucy Irvine has been awarded the 2025 CAPO Fellowship.
Irvine, whose practice spans sculpture, textiles, design, and architecture, plans to use the fellowship to develop new weaving systems and sculptural forms during a residency in Budapest, before bringing the resulting work to Canberra audiences.
Valued at up to $15,000, the fellowship is the Capital Arts Patrons’ Organisation’s top award and is funded through the sale of donated artworks and business items at CAPO’s annual fundraiser and auction.
