An 18-year-old man has been extradited from NSW following a violent home invasion in Conder where the male and female residents were stabbed several times. 

Police allege that a woman answered the door of her home when a man allegedly pushed his way inside and stabbed her several times.

The man and three other men then allegedly assaulted the male occupant, stabbing him as well.

The couple were taken to hospital with what police describe as “significant injuries”.

The 18-year-old man was arrested on Tuesday in Arndell Park (NSW) and extradited to face court in the ACT on Wednesday.

He will be charged with aggravated burglary, assault occasioning actual bodily harm, intentionally inflicting grievous bodily harm and possessing an offensive weapon with intent.
