Woman seriously injured in collision with tree

A 38-year-old woman was taken to hospital in a serious condition following a single-vehicle collision on Gungahlin Drive on Thursday morning. 

At about 7.30am police and emergency services were called to the northbound lanes of Gungahlin Drive where a silver Mitsubishi Lancer had left the roadway and collided with a tree.

The police Major Collision Team is investigating the circumstances and seeking witnesses and dash-cam footage.
