Guns and rifles stolen from Chisholm home

A firearms safe, two guns, a rimfire rifle, a trombone rifle, ammunition and cash have been stolen from a house in Chisholm.

At about 6.45am, on March 26, the occupants left their Norriss Street home, returning at about 1pm to find the front door open and several items missing.

Police believe the CCTV system at the residence had been disconnected about 8.45am.

Police are calling for any witnesses, including anyone in the Chisholm area between 6.45am and 1.00pm on March 26.
