One covid death as more cases reported

ONE person has died with COVID-19 in the last week, as ACT Health release their weekly report.

A man in his 90s is the latest victim, marking 230 lives lost in ACT covid-related deaths since March 2020.

This week’s reported cases number 526, up from 515 last week.

There are 21 people in hospitals throughout Canberra with the virus, but none in the intensive care unit or requiring ventilation.

Canberra has reported 234,531 COVID-19 cases since the start of the pandemic.
