A CANBERRA couple has won $50,000 in Thursday’s Keno Mega Millions draw.

“We had finished up at the local church in the morning for Easter and my husband told me that he needed to go to the bathroom, so I waited in the car,” one of the unnamed winners told a Keno official, who called on Tuesday morning to confirm the win.

“I decided to check my Keno entry while I was waiting for him. The next thing I knew, we had won $50,000!

“This will be a huge help towards our mortgage deposit.”
