Police are looking for this man, do you recognise hime?

Police are appealing to the public for assistance in identifying the driver of a Volkswagen Touareg who fled a random breath test (RBT) in December.

On the evening of December 27, police were conducting an RBT on Parkes Way, Acton, when they signalled the male driver of a gold Volkswagen Touareg with ACT registration YLJ63L to pull over.

However, the driver refused to stop, prompting a pursuit along Parkes Way and the Tuggeranong Parkway.

During the pursuit, the driver reached speeds of about 150km/h. Police terminated the pursuit a short time later, and the vehicle was last seen on Cotter Road heading towards Molonglo Valley.

The vehicle was towing a trailer with a roof-tiling crane and was also captured on cameras bearing ACT registration YPL10A.

Anyone who has seen the Volkswagen Touareg or knows the identity call 1800 333000 or via their website.
