National Opera’s The Don blends comedy, drama and tragedy in an exploration of the many faces of powerful noblemen in Italian opera, featuring staged scenes from works including Don Giovanni, Così fan tutte, Don Pasquale, La Gioconda and Attila. The Street Theatre, June 27-28.

- The newly formed Performative Theatre Company presents Albert Camus’ classic drama Caligula, conceived by Isaiah Prichard, following the notorious Roman emperor as he confronts the meaninglessness of existence. ACT Hub, July 1-4.

- Marcela Fiorillo presents a recital celebrating the music of Claude Debussy and Maurice Ravel, showcasing two of France’s most influential composers. Wesley Music Centre, June 26.
- Musica da Camera presents Movement: Strings in Motion, a program spanning Baroque masterpieces to contemporary works under the baton of Brad Tham. Holy Covenant Church, Cook, June 27.
- Pianist Mark Jurkiewicz returns to the Wesley Lunchtime Concert series with a program of works from the period of Frédéric Chopin’s relationship with George Sand. Wesley Music Centre, July 1.
