Third road death as 85-year-old man dies in hospital

An 85-year-old Sydney man has become the ACT’s third road fatality for 2025 following a collision in Watson last month.

Police say that at the intersection of the Federal Highway and Antill Street, on the afternoon of March 23, a station wagon left the road and collided with a tree.

Its two occupants were taken to hospital where the male driver died on Sunday.

Police will prepare a report for the coroner.
