Record crowds make it blooming good Floriade

More than half a million people visited Floriade at Commonwealth Park over the past month.

At 519,413 attendees, it was the annual flower festival’s biggest crowd, surpassing the previous high of 507,550 set in 2019 and a 10.4 per cent increase on attendance from last year, the government says.

The long weekend alone drew 102,571 visitors, the highest attendance over a single weekend, beating the 2018 record of 94,586.
