Police arrest alleged liquor store shoplifter

Police have arrested a 33-year-old man they allege was involved in a shoplifting incident at a liquor store in Woden last month.

The man was located on Sunday evening, arrested and charged with 13 counts of minor theft.

The inhouse CCTV recording released by police in their search for him suggests he took several bottles of wine before leaving without paying.

At the time, police were alleging that the man was involved in multiple shoplifting incidents this year, with the total value of stolen items exceeding $3500.
