Man critically injured in Symonston fight

A man is in a critical condition following an altercation in Symonston late on Monday afternoon. 

At 5.30pm, police received a call that the man was lying unconscious at the caller’s front door after the pair were involved in a fight.

Police began CPR before an ambulance arrived. The man was stabilised, but remains in critical condition at Canberra Hospital.

A 49-year-old Symonston man has been charged with grievous bodily harm.
