Man charged with stalking female work colleague

A 31-year-old man is facing court after allegedly stalking and sending death threats to a female work colleague.

Police allege that between April and May, the man used workplace IT systems to send harassing messages and death threats to the woman.

It is also alleged the man followed the woman while she was working, including to areas of the workplace he had no reason to be in.

The incidents were reported to police and he was arrested at his home in Belconnen on Friday night.

He has been charged with stalking and using a carriage service to harass.
