Man charged after refusing to pay sex worker

A 30-year-old man has been charged with sexual assault after allegedly refusing to pay a sex worker.

Police allege the man arranged for the services of a sex worker in October, but after sex, he refused to pay.

The incident was reported to police and on November 5 they went to a Harrison residence, but the man was no longer living there, breaching his bail conditions.

The man was arrested in a Deakin car park on Thursday morning. He is charged with reckless sexual intercourse without consent.
