Guns, drugs and cash seized in Holder

A 38-year-old Holder man, who was subject to an intensive corrections order, was arrested after police seized weapons, drugs and cash during a search of his home on Saturday.

Police found multiple weapons including a gel blaster, an imitation firearm, three extendable batons, two tasers and various amounts of ammunition.

They also seized illicit drugs suspected to be cocaine, ecstasy, methylamphetamine, MDMA, cannabis and LSD, as well as cash.

He was charged with two counts of drug trafficking, possessing a prohibited weapon and two counts of unauthorised possession of a firearm.
