Friends threatened with an axe in school car park

A 41-year-old Bonner man has been charged with assault and weapon offences after allegedly assaulting two people and threatening their friends with an axe.

Police allege the man assaulted a family member at a Gungahlin school car park on Tuesday morning then assaulted her friend. Things then escalated with the man threatening the family member’s friends with an axe.
