Family violence: woman charged with knifing man

A 31-year-old woman was arrested following the knifing of a man, wounding his hand, during a disturbance in Bonner on Monday night. 

The woman has been charged with aggravated assault occasioning actual bodily harm.

Hers was one of three arrests in alleged family violence offences overnight.

In Dunlop, police say a 23-year-old man allegedly caused damage to the property and assaulted a family member. The man, who was subject to a good behaviour order, was arrested and charged with aggravated common assault and damaging property.

Police also arrested a 26-year-old man after he allegedly assaulted a woman, threw items and kicked a door causing damage to the property they were in. Police found the man later in the night hiding under a bed in a house in Ngunnawal. He was arrested and charged with aggravated common assault and property damage.
