Early morning BMW theft leads to three arrests

A woman and two teenagers have been charged with burglary and driving a motor vehicle without consent after allegedly stealing a BMW from a Lawson home in the early hours of Tuesday morning.

Police allege that the three people entered the Lawson household, and took the keys to a silver BMW vehicle, which was subsequently stolen.

Police found the stolen BMW at the Gungahlin home of one of the alleged offenders. The residence was searched, which resulted in the arrest of the three alleged offenders.

The woman, and two teenagers were charged with riding/driving a motor vehicle without consent, aggravated burglary, joint commission take a motor vehicle without consent and theft.

The two teenagers were remanded in custody, and the woman has been released on bail.
