Driver thrown from ute in critical condition

A driver is in a critical condition after being ejected from his Mitsubishi Triton ute during a single-vehicle collision in Wanniassa on Friday night.

Witnesses reported to police that the ute was on its roof on Fincham Crescent (near St Anthony’s school) at about 8.15pm.

Police say they spoke to multiple people at the scene, but a man who they believe witnessed the collision left before speaking to officers. They are urging him to contact them as soon as possible.

Police are also keen to speak with anyone who saw the Mitsubishi utility before 8.15pm in the Wanniassa area or has dashcam footage of it.
