Low-income Canberrans are facing increasing financial pressure after five years of rising costs, according to a new report from the ACT Council of Social Service.
A Canberra demolition company has avoided prosecution over a 2023 incident at the Canberra Centre after WorkSafe ACT accepted a legally binding enforceable undertaking worth more than $225,000.
Water and sewerage bills for ACT households will rise by 6.3 per cent from July 1 after the territory’s economic regulator approved updated prices for Icon Water.
