An 18-year-old Latham woman has been charged after allegedly running over her former partner with his car, leaving him seriously injured in Holt overnight.

Police say the woman went to the man’s home about midnight on Monday, where the pair became involved in an argument.

She allegedly attempted to leave in his car, but struck him when he tried to stop the vehicle.

The man called police to report that he had been run over and seriously injured.

The woman has been charged with aggravated culpable driving, negligently causing grievous bodily harm.
