A 45-year-old Kambah man has been charged after allegedly breaking into a neighbour’s home and strangling him early Wednesday morning.
Police allege the man was yelling threats and banging on windows and doors before entering his neighbour’s garage about 4.30am.
When the neighbour attempted to lock the door, the man allegedly forced his way into the home, grabbed him and strangled him.
The man then left the property and the victim contacted police.
Officers arrested the 45-year-old at a nearby home.
He has been charged with choking, suffocating or strangling another person, affray, trespass and property damage.
