The ACT Government will spend $65.1 million on city services, suburban infrastructure and maintenance projects as part of the 2026-27 Budget.

A new active travel path between Hall and Gold Creek will also be built, while funding has been allocated for a public toilet at Umbagong District Park and new stormwater infrastructure in Hall.

The Budget also includes detailed design work for bus priority measures along Haydon Drive and Belconnen Way as part of the proposed Belconnen-to-city transitway.

Additional funding will support city services including mowing, street sweeping and horticultural maintenance, as well as bushfire mitigation work such as fire trail maintenance, prescribed burns and vegetation management.
