Several women were allegedly chased and threatened by a man outside a fitness studio on Northbourne Avenue, Civic, in two early-morning incidents earlier this month.

Police said a man harassed several women near the studio about 5.30am on Thursday, October 15, threatening to follow them inside and attempting to kick one woman as she approached the premises.

About 5.30am the following day, a man matching the same description allegedly chased several women at the same location, threatened one woman and threw a bottle towards another as she fled.

Police searched the surrounding area on both mornings but were unable to find the man.

Investigators have released a description of the man, who is said to be Caucasian in appearance, with a solid build and wavy hair.

He was wearing a grey cap, red T-shirt over a cream long-sleeved shirt, black board shorts and white and brown shoes.

Anyone who can help identify the man should call 1800 333000 or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website.
