Floriade will return to Commonwealth Park from September 12 to October 11, with organisers unveiling the 2026 theme, Feast of Flowers.

The annual spring festival will feature more than a million blooms, alongside food and wine workshops, live music, cultural performances, market stalls and family activities.

Popular events including NightFest, Dogs’ Day Out and the Great Big Bulb Dig will also return. NightFest will run from October 1 to October 4.

The festival will again extend beyond Commonwealth Park through Floriade Community and Floriade About Town, with flower displays, events and promotions planned across Canberra.

The funding will allow the event to open a day earlier and operate for longer hours in line with daylight saving, while also supporting planning for the anniversary celebrations.
