A man was allegedly assaulted and knocked unconscious at a Taylor home last week.

Emergency services were called to a residence on Everist Street about 5.50 on Monday evening after reports of an assault.

Police allege the man was approached by two males before being struck and losing consciousness. He was treated at the scene by paramedics and taken to hospital.
