Braddon death: woman faces murder charge

A 37-year-old Braddon woman has been charged with murder following an investigation into the death of a man at a Braddon unit.

Police were called to a unit on Lowanna Street late on Saturday night after reports of an injured man at the address.

When officers arrived, the man was found inside the unit and had died. He was identified as a 44-year-old man from Belconnen and his death was treated as suspicious.

Following enquiries, Homicide Squad detectives have charged the 37-year-old woman with murder.
