Man nicks outdoor umbrellas from Braddon takeaway

Security photos of the man police want to talk to regarding a theft in Braddon.

A man stole two red, outdoor umbrellas, valued about $2000, from a takeaway business in Mort Street, Braddon, around 10.55 on November 25.

Police say CCTV footage depicts the man putting one umbrella in each of two utes before driving away in one.

The man depicted in the image is described as Caucasian in appearance with brown hair and a moustache. He was wearing a cap, denim jeans, black top and black shoes.

The vehicles are believed to be a white Nissan Navara and a red Toyota HiLux.

Police are appealing to anyone who saw either vehicle or has dashcam footage of the incident to come forward. Make contact via the  Crime Stoppers ACT website or call 1800 333 000.
