Police want to see dash-cam footage of a Mazda 3 sedan driving erratically before crashing into a concrete wall in Parkes on Friday night.

Police were called to the single-vehicle collision on Kings Avenue at about 8.30pm after members of the public had reported seeing the sedan, YNL 44A, travelling at excessive speeds before losing control and hitting the wall.

The 26-year-old male driver was subject to alcohol and drug screening tests, with both returning positive results. His licence was immediately suspended for 90 days. He will face court at a later date.

Anyone who can assist police should provide their contact details to the Crime Stoppers ACT website.
