A 19-year-old man will face the ACT Childrens Court charged with committing an act of indecency on a child under 10 years in 2020.

Police allege the man, who was a child at the time of the incident, indecently assaulted a young girl while on a youth group excursion in October 2020.

The incident was reported to police and following an investigation, no charges were laid. However, the investigation was reopened in October 2025 and the man was issued with summons to appear before court.
