A homemade firearm was seized by police called to disturbance involving multiple people in Charnwood around 2am on Sunday.

Police identified four persons of interest and three were spoken to. One person fled before police arrived.

Police also found a homemade firearm inside an allegedly stolen vehicle at the scene.

Specialist firearms technicians made the item safe and the vehicle, firearm, one round of ammunition and a baton were seized.
