Mudgee man extradited to face child sex offences

A 59-year-old man from Mudgee, NSW, has been extradited to the ACT charged with sex offences against a child under 10.

Police will allege the man indecently exposed himself to the child on three occasions between 2023 and 2025, as well as showing the child inappropriate videos on his phone.

The incidents were reported to police in August and, with assistance from NSW Police, the man was arrested at his home on Friday  morning.

He is charged with three counts of acts of indecency on a child under 10 years and one count of grooming a young person
