Taser threat in alleged bid for drugs and cash

A mother and son were threatened with a taser during an alleged aggravated burglary in Duffy on Saturday afternoon.

A 23-year-old Chisholm man is alleged to have demanded prescription drugs and cash, forcing them into a bedroom with threats.

He was subsequently arrested and charged with four counts of forcible confinement, two counts of making a demand with a threat to kill, aggravated burglary – intent to commit theft and using a prohibited weapon without authorisation. He faces the Magistrates Court on Monday.
